Code of Conduct Policy

Purpose
The purpose of this Code of Conduct Policy is to outline the ethical standards, professional behaviours, and compliance expectations required of all employees, contractors, and representatives of R&E Outsourcing. This policy ensures that all actions taken on behalf of the organisation reflect our values, protect our reputation, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Scope
This policy applies to:

  • All employees, whether permanent, temporary, or contract.

  • Directors, managers, and senior leadership.

  • Consultants, contractors, and third-party partners acting on behalf of R&E Outsourcing.

1. Professional Integrity

  • Conduct all business activities honestly, fairly, and transparently.

  • Avoid conflicts of interest, whether real or perceived, and disclose any potential conflicts to management.

  • Ensure all communications, records, and reports are accurate, truthful, and free from misleading statements.

2. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

  • Adhere to all applicable UK laws, EU regulations, and relevant industry standards.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws, including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  • Comply with anti-bribery, anti-money laundering, and anti-corruption laws.

3. Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • Maintain the confidentiality of client, employee, and company information.

  • Handle personal and sensitive data by our Data Protection Policy.

  • Use secure methods for communication, storage, and disposal of confidential information.

4. Workplace Behaviour

  • Treat all colleagues, clients, and partners with dignity, respect, and fairness.

  • Promote diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace.

  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, bullying, or any behaviour that undermines a respectful work environment.

5. Use of Company Resources

  • Use company property, systems, and resources responsibly and for authorised purposes only.

  • Avoid misuse of IT systems, email, internet access, and company-provided equipment.

  • Report any suspected misuse, fraud, or theft immediately.

6. Health, Safety, and Wellbeing

  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

  • Report hazards, accidents, or unsafe conditions promptly.

  • Take reasonable care for your safety and that of others.

7. Social Media and Public Representation

  • Ensure that any statements made on behalf of R&E Outsourcing are authorised and accurate.

  • Avoid posting content that could harm the company’s reputation or breach confidentiality.

  • Maintain professionalism in all public and online interactions.

8. Reporting Concerns

  • Report breaches of this Code of Conduct to your line manager or the Director (Sarah Santeng).

  • R&E Outsourcing will investigate reports confidentially and without retaliation against the reporting individual.

  • Disciplinary action may be taken for violations of this policy, up to and including termination of employment or contract.

Acknowledgement
All individuals covered by this policy must read, understand, and agree to follow the Code of Conduct. Continued association with R&E Outsourcing constitutes acceptance of this policy.
